Two Ormiston College Year 12 Visual Art students had the pleasure of displaying their work in the Creative Generations Exhibition, showcased at the Redland Art Gallery recently. The competition was open to all independent and state schools in the Brisbane East area. It was presented by the Department of Education and Training. Entries passed a rigorous selection process.
We congratulate Vanessa Parisi; she was awarded a Highly Commended for her work ‘Obsessive Compulsive’. Haylie Andrew’s work, ‘The Weight of the World’ was also highlighted.
We encourage our community to visit the gallery over the holidays to see the high standard of innovation and creativity emerging from our schools. The exhibition continues through the holidays until, 9 October.
