The results of the graduating Class of 2022 continue Ormiston College’s reputation as one of the best academic performing schools in Queensland. An impressive 34% of students placed in Queensland’s Top 5%, with an ATAR of 95 or higher.
For the eighth year in a row, Ormiston College has been named one of Australia’s Most Innovative Schools.

Ormiston College continues to be recognised with multiple Australian Education Awards. In 2018 Ormiston College was named Australia’s top school for Best Use of Technology. In 2019, Ormiston College won the award for Most Innovative Curriculum Design for our Teaching and Learning Framework. In 2020 the College received Excellence Awards for: Best School Strategic Plan, Best Use of Technology, Innovation in Learning Environment Design, Primary School of the Year (Non-government), Secondary School of the Year (Non-government).
In 2021 Ormiston College was presented with an impressive eight awards, including Secondary School of the Year (Non-Government), Primary School Teacher of the Year (Non-Government) and the Best Use of Technology Award. Ormiston College’s Excellence Awards included Innovation in Learning Environment Design, Primary School of the Year (Non-Government), School Principal of the Year (Non-Government), Secondary School Teacher of the Year (Non-Government) and Best Co-Curricular Program.
At the annual awards in 2022, Ormiston College's leadership in tech-enabled teaching and learning was once again acknowledged with a third award for Best Use of Technology.

For eight consecutive years the College has been named one of Australia’s most innovative schools. In 2019 Ormiston College won gold in three categories of the EduTECH Asia Awards: Best Learning Space, Best Use of Classroom Technology and Leadership Award for Headmaster Brett Webster.
