Ormiston College provides an Outside School Hours Care program exclusively for children of Ormiston College families and staff.
Our Outside School Hours service provides high-quality recreational and educational programs for Prep to Year 6 students who attend Ormiston College. We provide this service to assist families with commitments outside of College school hours.
Operational Hours
Care is provided before and after school, during school holidays and pupil-free days.
The service is open 50 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays, and is closed for two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period.
Before School: 6:30am until school begins
After School: School finish until 6pm
Vacation Care: 6:30am to 6pm
Our Outside School Hours Care Program
Ormiston College Outside School Hours Care provides the opportunity for students to learn from experiences in a happy, stimulating, supportive, fun, safe and family-orientated environment. After a structured day at school, the students are warmly welcomed to a program where they are free to choose to partake in activities, complete their homework or simply socially engage with their peers.
Nutritious food is provided for breakfast and for afternoon tea during the school term. Afternoon tea only, is supplied during Vacation Care.
Bookings and Enrolments
Families are offered casual and permanent bookings for Before and After School Care. Vacation Care programs and booking forms are available three weeks prior to the holiday period.
All families, existing and new, who would like to access the service are required to complete an enrolment form to ensure a place is available for their child/children.
Fee Rebates
The Government's Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate are available for families. Further information can be obtained from The Family Assistance Office on telephone 13 61 50.
