The Kidpreneur challenge has taken the Junior School by storm with eight Year 6 businesses fighting for the highest profits. All eight businesses worked tirelessly over the past two months to create the ultimate franchise to sell their product on ‘Market Day’.
To grow their business, all companies were given $50 to start their challenge. The businesses used their money wisely and turned over the biggest amount of profits possible. All profits earnt by selling to the OC community were donated to various charities to help support their important work.
This challenge was not an easy one, with participating students undertaking the hard work of designing their pitch, understanding who they were as a business, what products to sell and their logo, name and slogan plus marketing material.
All students were given the opportunity to pitch their ideas to Mrs Catterall and Mrs Johal and obtain valuable feedback.
I would like to thank and congratulate all of the students that participated together with Mrs Catterall, Mrs Johal and Ms Bowker for supporting and helping our businesses.
