In 2015, The Educator Magazine launched a campaign with the intention of showcasing schools in Australia that were at the absolute forefront of change and innovation. The Educator sought information from schools that would demonstrate that their implementation of 21st century technologies was revolutionising their teaching and learning curriculum within their school. In that inaugural year, Ormiston College was named as one of the most innovative schools and since then is the only school to receive the Award every year since its inception.
