On Thursday 31 July, Ormiston College held the fourth Generations’ Breakfast in the Hall of Fame. This biennial event welcomes past students back to Ormiston College as second-generation parents, acknowledging and celebrating this significant intergenerational bond.

Despite the relatively short history of the College, we appreciate the major role our Alumni have played in shaping the Ormiston College community we know today. Our past students are, and continue to be, a great source of pride in the many outstanding achievements they accomplish.

Headmaster, Michael Hornby, remarked, “I have been truly impressed by the overwhelming sense of community which prevails at Ormiston College. It is wonderful to see our Alumni choosing to give their children the opportunity to follow in their path and create their own experiences and precious memories as part of the OC community.”

Alumni parents and their children connected with each other, College Executives and several long-standing staff members over a lovely breakfast, sharing stories and recalling memorable moments from years gone by.

To commemorate the occasion, each child of an alumni parent was proudly presented with a ‘Second-Generation’ badge as a symbol of their family’s continuing legacy as part of the Ormiston College community.

The Generations’ Breakfast not only highlights the value of tradition but also reaffirms the strength of community that defines Ormiston College.
