An exciting development to come from the newly formed Performing Arts Department this year was the introduction of Co-curricular Drama. While Drama has long been an important part of the College offering, 2026 marked the launch of a dedicated co-curricular program, creating new opportunities for students to extend their skills beyond the classroom and collaborate across year levels.

The program's inaugural production, Pride and Prejudice, supports the vision of an integrated Performing Arts Department providing Drama students with opportunities to perform in front of an audience beyond the biennial musical.

Bringing together students with a shared passion for performance, the production provided valuable opportunities to develop creativity and confidence in a supportive and collaborative environment. Throughout rehearsals, students demonstrated a commitment to bringing Jane Austen's timeless story to life.

Pride and Prejudice showcased the depth of talent within the College and highlighted the important role that the Performing Arts play in fostering communication skills, teamwork and self-expression.

Congratulations to the cast and staff whose hard work and enthusiasm made this inaugural production such a memorable achievement. We look forward to seeing the program continue to grow in the years ahead.
