We recently opened our brand-new playground designed especially for our Prep and Year 1 students. This exciting addition to our school grounds provides a safe, engaging and fun space where our youngest learners can play, explore and grow.
Completed at the end of Term 1, the upgrade was designed to support student wellbeing and encourage active and imaginative play during break times. The project was delivered by Matt Hodgins and the team from Prestige Group AUS, with construction taking place over several months.
The layout has been thoughtfully planned and features age-appropriate equipment and creative play areas that promote physical development, build confidence and encourage social interaction. A large fort takes centre stage, complete with slides and climbing areas and is set next to a beautiful water play space featuring a creek, balancing planks and timber bridges. The playground also includes a variety of areas for students to explore and discover, from tee pee yarning circles to a maze. An outdoor stage adds another layer of fun and sets the scene for creative play.
Students have already embraced the new space, and the playground is a hive of activity during break times. We look forward to seeing the playground continue to bring joy and connection to our students for years to come.
