Ormiston College is proud to be named an Excellence Awardee in the Australian Education Awards, a national celebration of outstanding achievements and transformative work in the K-12 education sector.
Presented annually by The Educator, the Australian Education Awards shine a spotlight on the very best in Australian schooling across categories such as innovation, leadership, teaching excellence, and student wellbeing.
In 2026, Ormiston College was shortlisted as a finalist in two categories:
- Primary School of the Year – Non-Government
- Secondary School of the Year – Non-Government
This achievement recognises the College’s commitment to leading innovative learning and the development of digital mindsets and skillsets that help students thrive in a technologically advanced world. The College’s teaching and learning programs strive to develop learners who think flexibly, work independently and collaboratively, take risks, solve real-world problems and demonstrate higher-order thinking skills.
