Individual successes were achieved by so many students at camp this year, contributing to the students personal growth as they continue their transition into Year 7.
Set amongst the tranquil bush in the Tweed Shire, the students enjoyed a relaxing environment to challenge themselves, to overcome their fears and step out of their comfort zone. It was also a great opportunity for students to interact with their peers and staff as they continued to make connections, which is the backbone of the Year 7 program. Not only did the students achieve personal goals but they also developed effective skills in cooperation, communication and tolerance through various team challenges. The students are ready to tackle our Term 2 focus - Getting Along.
Luckily the weather held out for most of the time to allow the students to engage fully and have a great deal of fun. Overall, the Year 7 students became stronger individuals by getting through it together and made some lasting memories!
