Ormiston College is proud to announce that Milan Kaniyur has been named as the College Dux for 2025. This recognition celebrates Milan’s outstanding academic achievement and dedication to learning throughout his time at Ormiston College.

Milan has consistently demonstrated remarkable focus, organisation and persistence, earning numerous accolades during his school years. His academic record includes eleven Merit Academic Certificates and two Academic Achievement Awards, culminating in the presentation of a Year 12 Merit Medallion in 2025.

Beyond the classroom, Milan has represented Ormiston College in a range of academic competitions. He participated in the da Vinci Decathlon and the Maths Team Challenge, and achieved outstanding results in national and international contests, including a Distinction in the Australian Mathematics Competition and a High Distinction in the International Chemistry Quiz.

In addition to academic success, Milan has contributed significantly to the College community as a highly capable leader, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm and involvement as one of the Academic Leadership Prefects in 2025.

Milan’s outstanding results are testament to his initiative, perseverance and passion for learning, “Consistency across all of my subjects was key” he reflected when the College advised him of his acknowledgement as Dux for 2025.
