Ormiston College has demonstrated its sporting excellence, securing top honours in three major Bayside District (13-19 years) events: swimming, cross country, and track and field, for the second consecutive year. This remarkable achievement underscores the dedication and capability of our students.
The year began with a splash as our swimmers delivered an impressive performance at the Swimming competition, claiming first place overall. A number of students were selected to represent Metropolitan East, and subsequently Queensland, highlighting the exceptional talent within the team.
Building on this momentum, Ormiston College athletes excelled in the Cross Country event held in May. They outpaced the nearest competitors by an impressive 132 points, securing the title of champion Secondary School for the Bayside District.
The success continued at the Track and Field Carnival in August, where our 107-strong squad delivered a commanding performance, clinching the top spot and successfully defending last year’s title.
These victories are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our athletes, coaches, and staff. Every student who participated in the 2025 program should be proud of their achievements.
