A record 290 school teams gathered at Nudgee College on Saturday, 21 June for the 2025 Queensland All Schools Cross Country Relay Championships. Ormiston College entered four strong teams to compete in this year’s competition. The teams took part in the 3 x 3km relay and despite the wet conditions, and having competed in the Interhouse Athletics Carnival just the day before, our athletes performed exceptionally well.
Congratulations to our 17 Years Boys team, who ran a fantastic race to be crowned State Champions in their division as well as our 15 Years Boys team who delivered a strong performance to secure third place. While our 14 Years Girls and 17 Years Girls teams did not place, their effort and spirit were evident as they gave their all on the course.
Well done to all our Cross Country athletes for representing Ormiston College with commitment and perseverance.
