Confidence took centre stage as our Year 8 students of 2026 embraced one of Middle School's most anticipated rites of passage, the annual Confidence Challenge.

Designed to build self-belief and resilience, the challenge saw each Year 8 class learn a unique hip-hop dance routine before performing in front of their peers. More than just a dance program, the experience encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, develop new skills and grow in confidence.

Under the guidance of a professional dance instructor, students spent the term learning and rehearsing energetic routines. Throughout the process, they demonstrated teamwork and perseverance, while supporting and encouraging one another along the way.

The program aligns with our Term 3 Wellbeing focus on confidence and self-esteem, providing students with a fun and engaging opportunity to strengthen their self-belief.

The term culminated in the highly anticipated Confidence Challenge with students taking to the stage to showcase their hard work with high-energy routines.

Congratulations to all our Year 8 students for their outstanding performances and for embracing the challenge with such positivity, confidence and spirit.
