The 2026 TAS Trimester 3 season has delivered a historic chapter in Ormiston College sport, with our Redbacks achieving outstanding success across the competition. For the first time since 2019, Ormiston College has been crowned the TAS Trimester 3 Champion School, an achievement that reflects the dedication, commitment and teamwork demonstrated by students, coaches and supporters throughout the season.

A total of 45 teams proudly represented the College across Girls Touch Football, Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball and Boys Football. Across all age groups and sports, students embraced the challenge of competition and represented the College with pride.

In an unprecedented achievement, every Ormiston College 1st team secured a premiership title. This is the first time in the College's history that every 1st team has won a premiership within a single trimester.

Among the standout achievements, the Boys Basketball 1st team claimed its inaugural TAS premiership, marking a significant milestone for the program. The Girls Volleyball 1st team continued its tradition of excellence, securing a third consecutive premiership and its 11th title overall.

While the results were exceptional, the season was equally defined by the growth of our students. Through training, competition and teamwork, students developed their skills, strengthened their confidence and demonstrated resilience in the face of challenges.

The success of Trimester 3 sport has been a collective effort, made possible through the commitment of players, coordinators, coaches, managers, volunteers and supporters. Their contribution has played a vital role in creating a season to remember for Redback sport.
