A joyful Christmas is in the Bag! Junior Social Justice Committee supporting Red Bag Appeal

For thousands of families and individuals across Queensland, Christmas will pass unremarked and uncelebrated. After paying for rent and basic utilities, many families are barely getting by, with nothing left over for a Christmas meal. Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ) is looking for help to collect non-perishable food items and Christmas treats to deliver Red Bags full of cheer to families facing homelessness and/or isolation.

The Ormiston College Junior Social Justice Committee is supporting this appeal. By your contribution, you will help in providing a Christmas Celebration in a bag for families, children and individuals who would otherwise miss out on the joy of Christmas. Please send in your donation of non-perishable food items and Christmas treats to your child’s classroom and help give another family a little Christmas cheer!
