While the Northern Hemisphere is enjoying Summer holidays, 3 German students are spending a large part of July and August (18/07/16-23/08/16) as exchange students at Ormiston College. This is part of the annual exchange opportunity with SAGSE that will see three of our own students visiting Germany for seven weeks during their Christmas break.
If you have not noticed these girls yet that is most likely because of their perfect camouflage – they are wearing their OC Uniform with pleasure and their English is of a very high standard. However, if you were wondering who they were and what they look like, click through the Gallery!
So far, some of the girls have enjoyed an Australian themed Morning Tea with our Year 11 German class. During the Morning Tea they sampled many typical Australian foods like Milo, Tim-Tams, Lamingtons, Fairy Bread and Fantales. It was a great experience for everyone!
While staying with their OC Families, the girls will attend classes with their hosts and enjoy some of what Australia has to offer on the weekends! Sophie, one of the exchange students has enjoyed visiting the beautiful local area, The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Surfers
Stay tuned to hear of the girls further adventures over the coming weeks!
